Hill International is currently looking to hire a Document Control Specialist to help support our current project in Columbus, Ohio
Responsibilities
Attend weekly progress and coordination meetings
Download/upload project information into Contract Manager
Establish and maintain files; receive, index and scan documents. Types of project documents include correspondence, field memos, submittals, pay requests, drawing log, safety notices, RFIs, and photos. This includes internal teams and external to project participants distribution of correspondence, technical submittals, project reports, Requests for Information, and contract plans and specifications
Maintaining the project Quality Records (i.e. material certifications, inspection/test reports, submittals, letters/project correspondence, meeting minutes, certified payroll)
Update plans and specifications with latest revisions from the designer and other as-built information under direction of field staff
Prepare basic correspondence and spreadsheets as required
Assist the Project Manager, the Construction Manager, and the Project Team in all matters relative to project documents and the control and distribution of documents
Perform routine office tasks – scan, copy, fax, file, organize, order supplies, mail, e-mail, etc.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience
Two-year college degree is preferred
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software is required
Experience with Microsoft Project or other construction management software is highly desired
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Good written and verbal communication skills solid organizational and planning skills
Reliable access to transportation to commute to/from office or field office
