Responsibilities:
Perform routine aircraft maintenance for optimal performance.
Verify mechanical systems function properly before flights.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Inspect engines, wings, propellers, and components for damage or defects.
Lubricate joints, replace worn or damaged hoses, and conduct inspections.
Follow maintenance manuals for precise repairs and replacements.
Install new parts to replace faulty components or enhance performance.
Repair sheet metal and test engines and systems for proper functionality.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues based on inspections and crew feedback.
Collaborate with A&P mechanics on engine and non-instrument repairs.
Perform additional related duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an FAA-accredited technical school (minimum 1,900 class hours).
FAA-certified A&P mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA).
5-6 years of experience as a General Aviation.
Experience with Cirrus Aircraft preferred.
Strong knowledge of aircraft parts, systems, mechanics, and testing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or record-keeping software.
Detail-oriented with strong mechanical skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication skills for reporting and issue resolution.
Physically capable of standing, kneeling, lifting up to 70 lbs, and working at heights.
