Help us grow Currie Medical! Currie Medical manufactures and sells a suite of premium single-use products to leading healthcare systems across the country. We are on the hunt for great businesses to acquire that will strengthen Currie Medical’s market position and broaden our portfolio of products. We need an energetic, self-motivated rockstar to help us scale our business to the next level.
We have an immediate opportunity in our Norfolk office for a talented professional with strong finance, research, communication and relationship-building skills.
This unique position is perfect for someone early in their career who has a strong interest in business and wants to learn how to identify and evaluate acquisition candidates. You will work directly with the owners of Currie, and your job will be to search our proprietary database of prospective target companies, conduct independent market research and build a pipeline of opportunities for us to pursue.

The successful candidate is a recent graduate of an undergraduate business program with a degree in finance, accounting or business management and one or more years of work experience. No direct M&A experience is necessary. We will teach you everything you need to know about how to find companies and complete an acquisition.
You will be responsible for leading our overall search for acquisition candidates which will include the following duties:
· canvasing our proprietary target database for attractive acquisition candidates
· conducting a broad and ongoing search for acquisition targets using other tools
· building Currie’s network of relationships with investment banks, law firms and other sources to create deal flow
· building a pipeline of targets and snapshot company profiles
· weekly pipeline reporting
· reaching out to targets or their representatives to express our interest and gather information
· assisting with overall deal process once an offer is accepted

We are a leading provider of SCD compression sleeves and pneumatic pumps for the prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Currie also provides a portfolio of fluid warming and slush drapes as well as fluid warmers and refurbished slush machine. Currie Medical’s primary focus and objective is to deliver the most clinically efficacious, cost effective, nursing user-friendly and patient compliant products to our caregivers.
