We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team! The Recovery Mobile Clinic is a 501C3 nonprofit agency that bridges the gaps in healthcare by taking out mobile clinics into the community to help those who need it the most. We are looking for someone with expereince as we are looking to build an inhouse billing department. This person must want to build a Billing department from the ground up and help with expansion and management of additional billers when there is a demand for more assistance. Mobile Model healthcare clinic focused on Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Experience with Billing Vivitrol to Michigan Medicaid is a MUST!

As a Medical Biller, you will be working closely with the Providers and teams clients to processing all forms needed for insurance billing purposes, and collecting necessary documentation from clients. You will also be tasked with follow-up inquiries to clients, use the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain records, and accurately submit patient billing information. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable spending much of the day on the phone.

Responsibilities

processing insurance claims through both private insurance and Medicaid/Medicare

Note and process all necessary forms from the insurance

collecting all necessary forms and signatures to submit billing forms

Work with Recovery Mobile Clinic offices/staff to obtain charge information and billing details

Enter all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors

Maintains the highest level of HIPPA confidentialityQualifications

Strong customer service skills

Previous experience with medical coding or billing is necessary

Previous expereice with billing Vivitrol injections (michigan medicaid carve out) is necessary

Strong organization skills

Excellent attention to detail

Eager to build a billing department
