BEIA is seeking a dynamic 2-20 agent to join a fast-paced and growing office. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn and be self-motivated. This position requires a strong sales capability, coupled with extensive knowledge of the industry. Someone who can consistently meet aggressive sales goals while writing quality business will thrive here. This role requires attention to detail and a friendly demeanor to service, quote and sell commercial insurance policies.
Requirements:
Valid and active 2-20 license
Continuing education requirements must be maintained and up to date
Experience in Commercial Lines of Business
Knowledge and understanding of the Florida insurance market including product offerings, carrier availability, and industry guidelines
Skilled in customer interaction
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Comfortable with technology and using computer software
Ability to multi-task, follow through, and follow-up
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Responsibilities:
Maintain and service existing book of business
Generate leads, build relationships, and establish new business
Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases
Effectively manage incoming sales calls
Quickly and accurately identify and assess customers’ needs
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and bind coverage
Consistently meet sales goals while writing quality business
Log customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
Assist with potential walk-in prospects
