We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the complete lifecycle of aerospace systems—from initial design through production and long-term sustainment. This role focuses on driving systems engineering excellence across product development, qualification, and ongoing support for operational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage system-level requirements, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and regulatory standards.
Write change justifications for qualification substantiation, supporting system modifications with technical and compliance rationale.
Lead or support Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) to resolve technical issues and enhance reliability.
Support production and sustaining programs, working closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to address field issues, implement improvements, and maintain system integrity.
Develop and execute integration, verification, and validation plans for hardware and software.
Evaluate design changes for impact on performance, cost, schedule, and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex system challenges and ensure successful product delivery.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and trade studies to guide technical decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering (or related field).
Demonstrated experience in systems engineering for complex aerospace products or programs.
Hands-on experience with sustaining programs or operational product support is highly valued.
Familiarity with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo), requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS), and change/configuration management processes.
Knowledge of RCCA methodologies and production support best practices.
Understanding of aerospace development standards (e.g., ARP4754, DO-160, IEEE 632, MIL-STD-810).
Desired Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
Critical thinker with problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset.
Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
Experience with Matlab/Simulink/Simscape is a plus.
