Business Development Engineer - Vancouver, WA
The Innovation Project Engineer will serve as the main plant point of contact for external stakeholders, addressing requests related to projects, trials, costing, new product introductions, and product modifications. This role will oversee projects from Idea to Market and coordinate with multiple departments including engineering, operations, finance, marketing, R&D, and corporate project teams.
Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000 Base Salary + 14% bonus.

Overview:
External Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main plant point of contact for external stakeholders, addressing requests related to projects, trials, costing, new product introductions, and product modifications.
Idea-to-Market I2M Project Leadership: Lead and drive I2M projects, ensuring timely completion of all plant-related deliverables, including costing, Initial Business Review (IBR), financial and operational Bill of Materials BOM setup, and providing plant feedback and support for new launches.
Productivity Reporting & Governance: Lead and drive the plant's conversion productivity reporting and manage the monthly governance process.
Productivity Execution Support: Support productivity initiatives at the plant level to achieve business unit commitments, ensuring Global Efficiency GE, quality, and waste levels remain within targets for all changes.
Trial Management: Plan and coordinate site trials, ensuring alignment with site planning schedules and blackout calendars.
Site Master Planning Support: Collaborate with the regional Strategy & Transformation team to support the BDM in the site master planning process.
Asset Innovation & Growth: Identify and lead opportunities to drive asset innovation, maximizing asset utilization and identifying incremental growth opportunities.
Productivity Pipeline Support: Assist the Business Development Manager in driving the site productivity pipeline and managing the glide path for in-year deliverables.
Capacity Assessment: Support mid- and long-term capacity assessments for the site.
Continuous Improvement: Serve as an active member of the Lean Six Sigma program to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Analytics, Business, or STEM.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment leading innovation, technology strategy, capital project management, new product introductions, etc.
Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with departments like Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Marketing to ensure cohesive, market-ready solutions.
Analytical Problem Solving in a high-speed environment.
Project Management experience with deadliness.
