Job Title: Software Developer II – ServiceNow
Location: Preferred- Hybrid (Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN) Remote (U.S. only)
Hybrid candidates must be able to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday.
Overview:
We’re seeking a Software Developer II with deep ServiceNow experience to join a dynamic and agile team focused on continuous platform enhancement and process automation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys sprint-driven work, and can bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance ServiceNow modules (not limited to one specific module).
Interpret and communicate user acceptance criteria and the impact of system changes to business stakeholders.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders during development to gather approvals and ensure smooth deployment.
Contribute to the ongoing upgrade and optimization of the ServiceNow platform (currently upgrading to Washington DC release).
What You Bring:
5–7 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
Strong scripting capabilities, particularly with Java.
Hands-on experience with Jira and working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Proven background in process improvement and automation.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions—ideal for someone with a business analyst background who has transitioned into a development role.
Experience working in large, matrixed organizations or regulated industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow certifications that demonstrate proficiency and commitment to the platform.
Recent experience with newer versions of ServiceNow (Utah, Tokyo, Washington DC).
Clear understanding of platform capabilities and module configurations.
