The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Property Management Administrator to join our team. The Property Management Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company procedures in managing government and customer-owned property. This role involves maintaining accurate records, conducting property audits, and managing the lifecycle of government property from acquisition to disposal. The ideal candidate embraces the hands-on aspects of this role, proactively learning and executing all property lifecycle tasks. Additionally, they bring creative solutions to enhance property management practices and drive continuous improvement.
Additionally, the Property Management Administrator will:
Ensure compliance with FAR, contractual requirements and company policies and procedures for managing government and customer-owned assets
Actively manage the property management system to the government property management outcomes outlined in FAR, specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1
Stay informed on changes in FAR, DFAS, and other regulatory frameworks affecting government property management
Provide guidance to internal teams on property handling, control, and reporting requirements
Accurately record and track government and customer-owned property throughout its lifecycle
Coordinate and execute property disposition activities, including excess, lost, or obsolete inventory reporting
Process necessary transactions for plant clearance, contract modifications, and contract closeouts
Generate and submit required reports internally and externally with accuracy and timeliness
Conduct internal audits and support government and customer on-site audits
Perform physical inventory audits, reconciliation and reporting in alignment with internal guidelines and contract requirements
Address audit findings and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and prevent future discrepancies
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving innovative and creative solutions in property management
Collaborate effectively with diverse teams, maintaining professionalism and fostering constructive dialogue to achieve organizational goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Supply Chain is Required
2+ years of experience in property management, contract compliance, or inventory control
Strong knowledge of customer property management, FAR, DFARS and other relevant regulations
SAP experience required
Familiarity with coding (Python), AI, automation, or data analytics is highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches)
Able to obtain forklift certification as needed
U. S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
