GPS is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Assemblers in Estill, SC.

Our client: A Fortune 1000 manufacturing company that produces linear irrigation equipment, windmill support structures, lighting, traffic, and steel utility poles.

Starting pay: $15.90/hr

2nd shift: 3 PM – 11 PM, Monday – Thursday, Fridays 1 PM – 9 PM

What you will do:

Complete assembly, shipping, packaging, and other labor tasks in a manufacturing environment such as:

Removing straps from coils

Pulling cable as needed in the assembly of poles

Operating basic hand and air-operated tools

Conducting quality checks using various gauges and tools

Unloading receiving trucks and checking received goods

Build plates, build structural molds

What is needed:

Stable work history, with 2-3 years of manufacturing experience

Ability to accurately use and read a tape measure

Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs

A drug-free workplace and a criminal background check are required.
