The stunning oceanfront resort, The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join their Housekeeping team! This breezy 1000-room property on Hollywood Beach with award-winning restaurants and activities sits along the Diplomat Landing Marina and has 209,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor and outdoor event space.

Our housekeeping team consists of 150+ team members which all report to the Director of Housekeeping - in this role you will oversee up 35 team members on your shift.

This role is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring proper stands are met and upheld, and providing coaching and training where needed. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience managing a housekeeping team in a hotel environment.

Shift Pattern: Full flexibility (AM/PM/OVERNIGHTS) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms

Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner

Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward

Oversee and conduct room inspections

Recruit, interview and train team members
