Join the dynamic team at our prestigious plastic surgery practice, where our doctor is double board-certified in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery and holds a fellowship in cosmetic surgery. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Office Manager to support our growing practice. Front Desk Responsibilities

Greet and sign in patients, discuss the doctor's fee-for-service, surgical pricing and payment expectations with patients.

Confirm appointments, check charts for balances owed to the doctor and follow up on outstanding insurance claims.

Process credit card and CareCredit transactions.

Draft patient letters and correspondence.

Verify insurance benefits, copays and deductibles.

Maintain and order clinical inventory supplies, including all injectables, Botox and fillers.

Manage and distribute the doctor's Emergency Room call schedule across all hospitals.

Manage medical record requests and documentation.

Work on state and federal Independent Dispute Resolutions (IDRs) and coordinate with legal representatives.

Answer office telephone calls and emails and make collection calls as needed.

Surgical Coordinator Responsibilities

Coordinate and book surgeries.

Supervise surgery authorizations and ensure pre-approvals are obtained for surgeries, magnetic resonance imagings (MRIs) and Computed tomography scans.

Schedule and manage pre-operative and follow-up appointments for pre-surgical testing and medical clearances.

Prepare and submit all surgery packets and required documents to hospitals.

Guide patients through insurance letter requirements for surgery approval.

Qualifications

Several years of experience in a medical or surgical office is needed.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Familiarity with medical billing, insurance verification and CareCredit.

Comfortable working independently and face-to-face with patients.

Able to manage multiple priorities with precision and care.
