Job Title: Senior Behavioral Health Therapist

Department: Outpatient Behavioral Health

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday - Friday; Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

SUMMARY:

The Senior Behavioral Health Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering mental health diagnostic assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing therapies to individuals facing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively within a clinical team and be supervised by a staff psychiatrist, ensuring high-quality care while exemplifying our Brand Promise and Core Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, offering counseling and clinical interventions for a designated caseload.

Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions.

Actively participate as a key member of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver patient care effectively.

Communicate promptly and thoroughly with both internal and external care providers to enhance the assessment processes and coordinate patient care.

Engage in professional supervision and continuing education to support quality care practices.

Demonstrate adept computer skills for electronic documentation.

Ensure timely and comprehensive completion of all required documentation.

Manage a caseload in line with departmental productivity requirements while minimizing missed appointments.

Maintain all necessary licensure in a timely manner.

Participate in planning, problem-solving, and quality improvement efforts related to program operations.

Pursue personal and professional development through internal and external resources, providing guidance and positive feedback to fellow team members.

Provide clinical supervision and consultation to other clinical team members as directed by management.

Assist the Team Leader/Manager in delivering effective care in response to community service requests.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

LCSW, LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCAT required.

Master's Degree in a Human Services field required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Five to seven years of relevant experience preferred.

EDUCATION: MS (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sedentary work - exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. This role primarily involves sitting, with occasional walking or standing.

PAY RANGE: $69,500.00 - $94,500.00

The salary range provided represents a good faith estimate for full-time applicants and may be adjusted in the future. Compensation is determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, specialty, internal parity, location, and relevant contracts.
