Project Manager - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Description

The Integrated Systems Division at Leidos is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support a vital client's needs in a dynamic and challenging environment. This position is based at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, and requires a candidate with strong leadership capabilities who can work collaboratively across various functional and technical areas to drive positive outcomes for explicit and implicit program objectives. To qualify, candidates must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph.

Primary Responsibilities:

Facilitate the launch planning process by providing in-depth requirements definition and project planning support.

Engage with launch customers to clarify communication needs, engineer optimal solutions, and generate requisite documentation.

Create comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines.

Lead projects through critical customer milestones and conduct thorough reviews.

Draft and refine technical project documentation.

Monitor project tasks and action items diligently.

Prepare and deliver briefings as necessary.

Generate detailed project status reports.

Verify accuracy and promptness of all engineering and maintenance documentation essential for launch projects.

Work alongside technicians to confirm compliance with IT requirements.

Assist technicians to ensure systems are prepared for launch activities.

Coordinate with the configuration management team to maintain precise and complete CM documentation, including facility maps and circuit diagrams.

Participate actively in working groups, Technical Exchange Meetings, and Integrated Product Teams.

Evaluate staffing demands and IT deployment timelines to manage lead times effectively.

Support launch communications testing and rehearsal initiatives.

Oversee the development of project deliverables and products.

Ensure quality assurance measures are applied to all project outputs.

Direct all activities tied to defined launch communications checks across all involved stakeholders.

Document, track, and communicate lessons learned from launches.

Basic Qualifications:

US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph.

Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience; relevant technical experience may substitute for a degree on a case-by-case basis.

Familiarity with the ITIL Framework.

Knowledge of Federal government standards and guidelines.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to lead in a collaborative and constructive manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous project management experience on smaller programs.

Experience managing multifaceted projects.

Background in customer launch support.

Mission-specific technical expertise.

Possession of a Security+ certification.

PMP certification is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
