Factory Location: Hawkins, TX
Compensation: $37.00 / hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles and equipment such as propane, gas, and diesel engines, electric vehicles, and equipment 24v, 36v, and 48v
Operate, repair, and service Yard Trucks, Pickups, Forklifts, Walk Behind Lifts, Man Lifts, Sweepers, ATV’s, Pallet Moles, trailers, and other equipment
Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and high voltage DC systems safely
Fabricate hydraulic hoses, rebuild pumps, valves, and cylinders
Repair drum, disc, air, and wet brake systems
Understand the safety requirements of the equipment dictated by OSHA, DOT, and the company
Maintain safe work practices
Know how to weld, cut, grind, and fabricate.
Keep track of preventive maintenance, repairs orders, hours, and parts in the fleet tracking system (Trimble)
Climb up on and under equipment regularly
Assist in educating drivers and operators on equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work area and shop
Use and maintain shop equipment such as but not limited to hoist, jacks, electric and pneumatics tools, battery lifts, and diagnostic equipment
Maintain parts inventory and budget
Work with vendors for parts, service, invoicing, transportation, and other fleet related items
Qualifications
Key Qualifications
Two years technical education completed or minimum three years hands-on experience (gas or diesel accepted)
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Cummins, Ford, or other engine manufacturer Diagnostic Tool proficiency
Experience using parts and service manuals
Ability to read diagrams and schematics for electrical, hydraulic and air systems
Knowledge of small engines, motors, compressors, and pumps
Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain CDL B within specified period of time
ASE Certification required within specified period of time
Must possess personal tools
Positive team-player attitude
