Job Title: Travel CT/MRI Radiologic Technologist

Location: Syracuse, NY

Assignment: 13 Weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified and experienced Travel CT/MRI Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, NY.Located in the heart of Upstate New York, Syracuse offers a perfect blend of professional opportunity and cultural exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT and MRI examinations under the supervision of departmental radiologists.

Greet patients, explain procedures, position them appropriately, and set proper exposure factors to achieve high-quality imaging.

Ensure patient safety by practicing proper radiation safety and protection protocols.

Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain optimal studies.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.

Process images and input data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for documentation and billing.

Adhere to departmental procedures and protocols outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.

Provide radiologic examinations as directed by referring physicians and radiologists.

Qualifications:

Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Active New York State (NYS) license/registration.

Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist specializing in CT/MRI.

Strong knowledge of imaging equipment operation and radiation safety.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.
