We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee the sales of our advanced hardware systems to industrial, defense, and aerospace clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in complex B2G (Business-to-Government) and B2B technical sales, with specific experience in navigating the unique procurement cycles and compliance requirements of the defense and aerospace industries.
Primary Responsibilities
● Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the defense and aerospace sectors
● Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers target industries
● Lead the pursuit of opportunities, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and formal bid processes
● Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions that address specific client requirements and challenges
● Coordinate with engineering, production, and support teams to ensure deliverables meet client expectations
● Navigate complex compliance requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
● Provide accurate sales forecasts and detailed reporting on market trends, competitive intelligence, and pipeline development
● Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
● Mentor and develop junior sales team members specializing in the defense and aerospace verticals
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field
● 7+ years of progressive experience in sales within the defense, aerospace, or related hardware systems industries
● Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex, long-cycle B2G/B2B environments
● Experience with government contracting processes, defense procurement cycles, and related compliance requirements
● Strong understanding of hardware systems integration and technical solution selling
● Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
● Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Desired Skills
● MBA or advanced technical degree
● Experience with manufacturing and industrial metrology systems
● Experience working directly with defense/military organizations
● Certifications relevant to defense sales or technical specialties

This is full-time salaried position with full benefits offered. Approximately 30% of travel is expected.
