Job Description:
We're looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager who can handle everything from menu creation and staff management to keeping track of inventory. The ideal candidate will have great leadership skills and culinary expertise and will work hard to make sure our guests have an amazing dining experience every time they visit.

Job
Curate and maintain an engaging and welcoming atmosphere in MOLLIE Aspen's food and beverage outlets.
Oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations, including maintaining floor presence, purchasing, and controlling cost of goods, inventory levels, supplies, expenses, and labor.
Build and maintain a team, ensuring that employees abide by Food and Beverage SOPs and are given opportunity for ongoing training.
Assist with recruiting, screening, coaching, and retaining a quality team.
Set work schedules according to business demands while maintaining target labor costs.
Oversee F&B employee timecards and approve bi-weekly payroll.
Manage café staff, POS system, processes, and training as needed.
Create and implement training manuals and processes for various F&B positions.
Able to perform all front and back of house functions including but not limited to opening and closing, food preparation, and cleaning procedures.
Arrange food, dishware, and glasses to make attractive displays for maximum guest perception.
Deliver a unique customer experience through high quality products and customer service, increasing overall guest perception.
Manage the expo line during peak business levels to ensure consistency and organization between front and back of house areas.
Create and execute unique guest experiences with food and beverage such as complementary receptions and special events that enhance the guest perception.
Keep all counters and work areas clean at all times.
Provide guidance to guests on activities, dining options, and general area information.
Clean up after customers and clean work area.
Perform regular inventory to help maintain proper inventory levels.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Perform other duties as and when assigned by the hotel management.
Assist with other tasks/responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent guest service and problem-resolution skills.
Understanding of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of work experience in hospitality.
The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects that weigh 25 pounds or less without aid is required. Assistance will be necessary for objects weighing over 50 pounds.
