Job Description

The Business Technology Leader / Director – Supply Chain Planning & Sourcing is a strategic IT partner responsible for transforming Supply Chain Planning & Sourcing processes using ERP applications and will also lead digital transformation using Agentic AI, advanced digital supply chain solutions across Planning & Sourcing operations globally across the organization.

The leader will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to modernize processes, improve agility, and strengthen end-to-end visibility and resilience.

This role focuses on building next generation Planning & Sourcing capabilities and practices using cloud-based ERP solutions, Digital Planning and Sourcing solutions, and agentic AI.

Job will be ON SITE - DEERFIELD

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Transformation & Innovation:

Develop Technology strategy and 3 Yr. roadmaps for supply chain planning and sourcing, aligned with business strategy, impact and value

Ensure IT initiatives directly support strategic objectives across procurement, material planning, logistics, and vendor management.

In close collaboration with key Planning, Sourcing and IT stakeholders, execute and own IT enabled transformation for Planning & Sourcing processes and capabilities in line with enterprise Supply Chain goals and broader Supply Chain IT strategy.

Execute and own transformational initiative to digitize and optimize end-to-end Planning & Sourcing processes and capabilities using cloud based ERP (SAP, Oracle), agentic AI, and Digital Supply Chain technology solutions tailored for both Planning & Sourcing environments.

Collaborate with cross functional team and lead adoption of real-time analytics, control towers and AI driven insights to support strategic sourcing, inventory optimization, supplier risk, and ESG goals in line with broader supply chain objectives. Promote transparency and data accessibility across the value chain.

Business & IT Collaboration:

Collaborate with Planning & Sourcing leadership team member and act as a trusted technology advisor.

Own and maintain the business-IT relationship for global supply chain planning & sourcing organizations.

Own system enablement of end-to-end business processes in line with industry leading practices.

Collaborate with IT and come up with pragmatic IT solutions to meet the strategic objectives and address operational challenges through strong cross-functional collaboration.

Translate planning and sourcing requirements into IT solutions that improve forecasting, demand planning, supplier performance, and sourcing efficiency.

Change Management & Project Delivery:

Own change management and project management for IT enabled transformational and continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain planning & Sourcing.

Lead end-to-end project delivery and change management for major digital initiatives, ensuring successful implementation, user adoption, and sustainable benefits.

Drive effective implementation of IT-enabled change, using structured project management and change management methodologies to ensure user adoption, process integration, and sustained business value.

Deliver key transformational initiatives in the agreed upon time and budget.

Own the initiatives for business to realizes the value from these transformation initiatives. Drive user adoption and refine business operating system.

Define, measure, and own key metrics and work with Planning & Sourcing organization and enable organization to realize the improvement in performance and value through these key metrics.

Continuous Improvement and compliance:

Collaborate with business and IT and drive continuous improvements.

Evaluate and prioritize business IT requests based on strategic impact, ROI, and operational urgency. Facilitate demand governance processes to manage IT capacity and resource alignment.

Ensure regulatory requirements across diverse Supply Chain Planning & Sourcing models.

Champion the use of real-time data, KPIs, and analytics to improve Supply Chain performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Deep understanding of both supply chain planning and sourcing processes.

Deep expertise and 10+ years of experience in successfully transforming or simplifying business processes and capabilities for supply chain planning and sourcing organization using on-premises and cloud-based SAP and Oracle ERP.

Experience in leading 2+ complete life cycle deployment of SAP or Oracle ERP solutions across large global supply chain businesses.

Strong track record in ensuring business realizes and maximizes value from these transformational initiatives.

Experience in successfully collaborating with Supply Chain Planning, Sourcing and IT stakeholders to drive digital transformation.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud) and digital supply chain platforms like O8, supplier collaboration solutions, and digital sourcing strategies.

Familiarity with digital supply chain planning and sourcing enablers such as, AI/ML, RPA, and others

PMP or equivalent certification is a plus

Exceptional communication, leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
