Medical Representative / EMT-Paramedic
Location: Omaha, NE
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (7 months with potential to extend or convert)
Shift: Overnight Wednesday–Saturday 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Representative to join our onsite health services team. This role is ideal for a certified EMT, Paramedic, or Athletic Trainer who is passionate about employee wellness, injury prevention, and providing first aid care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first aid care and refer employees to external medical providers as needed.
Support injury prevention through education, awareness, and proactive engagement.
Maintain accurate records of care and daily activity logs.
Participate in weekly case management and safety committee meetings.
Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
Engage with new hires and employees through daily interactions and wellness advocacy.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider.
One of the following active certifications:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
Paramedic Certification (State Department of Health)
Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) from the Board of Certification or equivalent state certification.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working independently and making sound medical decisions.
