Production Manager

Job Overview:

Responsible for all production planning, purchasing functions, shop floor scheduling, and inventory control.

Ensure production targets are achieved on time, quality standards are maintained, and the shop operates efficiently and effectively.

Efficiently utilize ERP system to impact organization and accuracy of production data.

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership of production, scheduling, purchasing, outside services, and shipping activities.

Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans to ensure timely completion of jobs, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

Establish competence in Acumatica ERP purchasing, production order and inventory control modules.

Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to ensure smooth operation and execution of the production schedule.

Maintain inventory, bills of material, work centers, machines, and production order data.

Analyze production data to continuously improve shop efficiency and effectiveness.

Strengthen shop floor adherence to policies, procedures and best practices.

Motivate tam members regarding safety, organization, cleanliness, and quality.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship

Bachelor’s degree in business operations management, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field.

Demonstration of a positive attitude that impacts the existing company culture.

Ability and eagerness to learn new skills and adjust to increased workloads displaying a helpful work ethic.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to verify meets high quality standards.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with ERP inventory planning and scheduling systems.

Experience with production, planning, scheduling, material management, problem solving, leadership, and quality control.

Experience in a CNC machine shop or equivalent manufacturing environment.

Experience managing teams and directing work activities of others.
