Summary Description

As part of the Stadium Operations team, the Coordinator of Stadium & Dock Operations will oversee all loading dock operations including preventive maintenance of equipment at Huntington Bank Field and assisting general stadium operations as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Dock Operations

Supervise and lead activities of the Loading Dock to ensure the area is neat, clean, free of debris and equipment is stored appropriately and safely.

In a timely manner, ensure coordination and distribution of all deliveries while managing dock area/space.

Ensure equipment including doors and dock plates are maintained and in good working order.

Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure deliveries are scheduled and are compliant with the Safety Act.

Safeguard Loading Dock package screeners and ensure that the machines are in good working order.

Monitor and coordinate preventive maintenance services of all dock equipment.

Obtain and/or maintain forklift training certification and work with a vendor to provide training to stadium staff and partners.

Manage the issuance of all rolling stock.

Ensure all operators are certified or licensed to operate rolling stock.

Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance schedule of the department's rolling stock including pickup trucks, forklifts, security round carts, and golf carts.

Main point of contact for rolling stock partners and service mechanics

Monitor the Service Level to ensure the areas are neat, clean, free of debris and equipment is stored appropriately and safely.

Work to ensure trash and recycling procedures are followed, pests are under control and the waste is placed in the appropriate receptacles in a timely fashion.

Maintain BOH hallway and cleanliness from equipment.

Receive and distribute stadium mail and standard packages and ensure that all proper stadium procedures are followed.

Events

Assist as needed for event/game day set up including but not limited to furniture, walk through metal detectors, stanchions, bike racks, A/V equipment and signage.

General

Assist with basic fan, partner and vendor customer service on game/ event days.

Collaborate closely with on-site third-party partners including security, custodial, food service and merchandise.

Assist Stadium Operations as appropriate and necessary.

Assist Stadium Operations with implementing and executing snow removal process (as necessary).

Other duties as assigned by Stadium Operations Director

Required Experience & Skills

Ability to legally operate a passenger vehicle, golf cart, snow removal vehicle and equipment, Bobcat type vehicle and forklift (Training and certification can be given after the completion of the hiring process.)

Ability to work independently, prioritize, and make quick and decisive decisions with confidence.

Clear understanding of all department and company policies and procedures

Basic computer skills specifically including Microsoft Office and industry standard software.

Basic understanding of standard office equipment including AV equipment, smartphones, and photocopiers

Effectively, and professionally interact with staff, supervisors, fellow departments, contractors, and guests.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Obtain and maintain a valid Ohio Drivers License

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs and ramps during entire shift (8 - 12 hours)

Ability to lift, carry, and transport large boxes and items more than 50 lbs.

Availability to work long and irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays, NFL games and special events including but not limited to soccer, football, concerts, and banquets.
