Job Title: IT Asset Management Analyst (onsite)

Location: US-SC- Greenville (Sandy Springs)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst with a strong background in IT Support, Power BI, and metadata tracking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in IT asset management and analytics, with a proven ability to optimize processes, drive data-driven insights, and support IT operations.

Job Responsibilities:

IT Asset Lifecycle Management: Oversee the tracking, management, and optimization of IT hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle. Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with licensing agreements.

Metadata Tracking: Implement processes for capturing, managing, and maintaining metadata related to IT assets, ensuring enriched data organization and visibility.

Data Analytics and Reporting: Leverage Power BI to design dashboards and reports, delivering actionable insights on IT asset utilization, lifecycle, and costs.

IT Support Collaboration: Partner with IT support teams to address asset-related concerns, optimize resource allocation, and improve service quality.

Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors to negotiate contracts, monitor warranties, and ensure the timely delivery of IT resources.

Audit and Compliance: Perform regular audits of IT assets to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, addressing discrepancies proactively.

Process Optimization: Refine and improve processes for IT asset procurement, deployment, and retirement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records of IT assets, metadata, workflows, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

5-7 years of relevant experience in IT asset management, IT support, and analytics.

Expertise in Power BI for visualization and analytics. Familiarity with IT asset management tools and metadata tracking processes.

Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management, procurement processes, and support operations.

Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interfacing across departments and with external vendors

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for IT service management.

Experience with automation or scripting for asset and metadata management.

Knowledge of compliance standards like ISO 27001.
