Job Title: IT Director

Location: Peltier Enterprises, Inc.

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Executive Leadership

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Director to lead and manage the technology infrastructure, systems, and digital initiatives across our Auto Group. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, innovation, organization, and technical expertise to ensure our IT operations run efficiently, securely, and in alignment with our business goals and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an IT strategy that supports the company’s operational and growth goals.

Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, network administration, cybersecurity, and dealership systems (e.g., DMS, CRM, telecom).

Manage relationships with third-party vendors, software providers, and service partners.

Lead and support dealership technology initiatives, including upgrades, new software rollouts, and integration across platforms.

Maintain and enforce IT security policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards and best practices.

Collaborate with department heads to identify tech solutions that improve efficiency, sales, and customer experience.

Supervise and develop a small IT team, providing guidance, performance reviews, and support.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Prepare and manage the IT budget, including forecasting and cost analysis.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvement or innovation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT leadership, systems management, or IT operations (automotive industry experience a plus but not required).

Proven track record of managing IT infrastructure and business-critical systems.

Strong knowledge of networking, server environments, cybersecurity protocols, and cloud-based technologies.

Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and CRMs is highly preferred.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
