POSITION TITLE: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Support and improve Clearfield’s data strategy. Responsibilities include a mix of system and business analysis across the enterprise (e.g. continuous improvement across Sales, Operations, Marketing, etc.), building out supporting entities, and project engagement.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as product owner of Clearfield’s business intelligence efforts in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Lead business and functional requirements meetings. Analyze gaps and drive resolution around appropriate reporting and organizational dashboards.
Identify opportunities for improvement across the current software platform and recommend solutions to ensure maximum efficiency and utilization.
Provide leadership defining functional area data elements to be used for operational and strategic reporting.
Develop and publish enterprise dashboards for Clearfield leaders and the Board of Directors.
Develop and deliver internal training sessions on best practices around data visibility and presentation.
Completes other duties and projects assigned or apparent.

Makes recommendations on individual business systems based upon Return on Investment (ROI) and impact analyses as well as environmental scans. Leads business process re-engineering.
Presents complex positions and strategies for business decisions, processes and plans.
Guides to other business analysts.
Advises on compliance, governance structures and audit principles.
Requirements Analysis: Determining problems and identifying business needs. Identifying and recommending viable solutions. Eliciting, documenting and managing requirements, in order to meet business and project objectives and facilitating the successful implementation of the product or service.
Develops complex models with multiple dependencies or require the input of multiple groups such as process flow and swim lane diagrams.
Creates or revises processes according to improvement plans and objectives.
Implements according to best practices.
Develops learning solutions to educate employees on new or revised processes.
Manages interdependencies between processes to ensure effective operations.
Evaluate processes after improvements and, on an ongoing basis, determine need for further revisions.
Provides recommendations including cost-benefit analysis for most viable options when multiple alternatives are presented.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Five years of progressively responsible hands-on professional experience delivering business intelligence through dashboards or reporting platforms that enable the company to make strategic and operational decisions to improve the organization’s growth.
Expert Power BI user.
Strong project management skills to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
Excellent client-facing skills (e.g., verbal, demonstrations, written, training, etc.).
Flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented environment.
“Team Player” mentality.
Able to effectively manage ambiguity and navigate in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and implement solutions with minimal guidance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under deadline constraints.
Proven analytical professional that is eager to learn and interested in wearing multiple project hats.

Clearfield's Time Off Policy includes Personal Time Off (PTO) beginning at three weeks annually. PTO is accrued on the first of the month starting on day of hire. In addition, nine paid holidays per year.
SALARY RANGE: $95,038 -$118,797 -$142,557; Bonus eligible position.
An Offer of employment will be extended at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
