SD Solutions seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Omaha, NE. Cyber Security Analyst will support Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) planning and execution. The successful candidate will provide direct cybersecurity support to the Air Force, ensuring the security posture of Air Force systems meets or exceeds established standards. This role requires a solid foundation in Air Force or NIST cybersecurity practices, STIG implementation, risk assessment, and threat monitoring.

Responsibilities

Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) Planning & Execution:

· Perform testing, analysis, scheduling, and implementation of all applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

· Monitor and execute the quarterly revalidation schedule for cybersecurity controls.

· Track emerging STIG changes outside of the quarterly cycle and incorporate necessary updates

· Assist in planning and executing the 557 WW's transition to a cloud environment, ensuring cybersecurity risks are mitigated.

Cybersecurity Meetings & Stakeholder Collaboration:

· Prepare and deliver biweekly Cyber Security Updates and briefings to 557 WW leadership.

· Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to support cybersecurity collaboration.

· Gather input from stakeholders and present consolidated findings and recommendations to leadership

Technical Monitoring & Threat Management:

· Monitor the cybersecurity risk and threat landscape within the 557 WW's operational environment.

· Support proactive threat hunting and risk analysis efforts to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

· Operate and maintain tools such as Endpoint Security, ACAS, and Intrusion Detection Systems to ensure continuous monitoring and compliance.

Requirements

· Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Air Force or industry cybersecurity standards and system accreditation, or equivalent experience with NIST security frameworks.

· Demonstrated expertise in:

o Endpoint Security

o Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

o Threat Hunting and Risk Analysis

o Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)

o DISA STIGs

· Experience supporting:

o STIG analysis, scheduling, and revalidation

o Cybersecurity briefings and stakeholder coordination

o Cloud security planning and migration support

Preferred Requirements

· Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Air Force or industry cybersecurity standards and system accreditation, or equivalent experience with NIST security frameworks.

· Demonstrated expertise in:
