Kable Staffing is in urgent need of Assemblers (Continental 12 hour shifts) in Florence, KY. This position is a temp to hire opportunity, full-time.
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu (Rotate) - CVG 100 and CVG 300
401 - 6am-6pm
402 – 6pm-6am
Thursday-Sunday - CVG 100 and CVG 300
403 - 6am-6pm
404 – 6pm-6am
Sunday-Tuesday/Wednesday - CVG 200
401 Shift A - 6am-6pm
402 Shift B – 6pm-6am
Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday - CVG 200
403 Shift C - 6am-6pm
404 Shift D – 6pm-6am
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manually place parts on circuit boards in accordance with workmanship standards
Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids
Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive electronic assembly operations and label
components, assemblies, or subassemblies
Prepare and manually assemble inserted components per visual aids, upon verification of specs from the visual aids
Visually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement
Utilize bar code scanners and small hand tools
Ensure assemblies and components are properly handled and marked
Accurately maintain progress reports; monitor and restock parts bins as required
Work under direct, close supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager, or other management as assigned
Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned area at all times
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations associated with this position and as
directed by supervisor
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
Ability to stand continuously
Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to lift cartons above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level
Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and/or stoop
Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity, including grasping and holding
Be a team player with an ability to work well with others and work well independently
Pass a background check and drug test
