Job Description

Sea Glass Bistro is looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Host to join our restaurant team!

As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for seating arriving guests promptly and process cashier transactions accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

Has a friendly, personable style with guests. Anticipates customer needs before they ask

Complies with all standards regarding greeting and seating of guests, such as staying within two feet of guests while walking to the table; pulling out chairs for guests, handing guests an open menu, introducing the server and upselling any specials

Has full knowledge of and promotes menu, facilities and services, hours of operation and promotional programs

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred

Some experience with restaurant computer systems useful

Experience handling cash and credit card procedures

Basic Math skills

Attention to detail

Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
