Position: Machinist

NARIK CONSULTING, LLC is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Hartsville, SC. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machine setup and production methods

Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required specifications

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

Maintain and repair machines as needed to ensure optimal performance

Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while operating machines and handling materials

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and meet project deadlines

Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and efficiency

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Experience with programming software (Esprit, or MasterCam etc) preferred.

Be proficient in reading standard and metric blueprints along with knowing GD&T.

Experience with manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders

Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes

Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform accurate measurements

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
