The Engagement Specialist is an expert in strategic operations and program delivery, including live, virtual, and digital experiences through our platforms. They are able to manipulate existing content into a variety of delivery methods to reach a range of associates in various regions with different priorities. The I&D Engagement Specialist is able to create content from the ground up – partnering with subject matter experts and leaders to design and develop programs that enhance associates’ sense of inclusion and belonging. They are highly cross functional, associate-centric and strategically minded. They are able to leverage data and insights to inform their approach and identify opportunities in our offerings. This person is a champion of our brands, culture, and people and has a passion for creating an inclusive environment where all A&F associates feel a sense of belonging.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
1. Program Execution & Delivery:
Own the facilitation and operationalization of live, virtual, and digital I&D engagement programs globally
Execute key regional strategies and experiential events that support company culture, inclusion, and associate belonging
Lead I&D components of new hire orientation to reinforce cultural values early in the associate journey
Coordinate logistics for experiential components including venue selection, AV support, gifting, and catering
2. Engagement Strategy & Insights:
Use internal listening and external benchmarking to identify regional opportunities for I&D activation
Leverage insights to tailor experiences that meet diverse associate needs across all leader levels
Stay curious and research emerging best practices in inclusion, engagement, and belonging
3. Project & Operations Management:
Actively track timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects tied to the broader I&D roadmap
Maintain I&D engagement program materials and communications, including presentations and participant tracking
Update SharePoint content regularly to ensure a seamless, current, and user-friendly digital experience
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-Functional Integration:
Partner with HR Business Partners, Benefits, L&D, Philanthropy, and Associate Engagement to align efforts and amplify cultural competency organization-wide
Manage vendor and consultant relationships, including contracts and budget tracking
Demonstrate close connection to customers and associates through regular observation, feedback, and research
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
5+ years of experience in Employee Engagement or related field preferred
Proven leadership experience and ability to thrive in team-based settings
Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships
Engaging and optimistic personality with the ability to respond quickly and positively to change
High standards and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deliverables effectively
