Analytica is seeking a Data Analytics Project Manager to manage a high-profile program for a federal health care client involving data and analytics products development, management, and support in Falls Church VA. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, data science and technology projects.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Lead one or more data and analytics project teams consisting of a mix of technical and non-technical personnel, including data engineers, data scientists and data analysts.

Engage regularly with clients at numerous levels of federal health care client- project managers, stakeholders, end-users, data owners, analysts, IT groups, management, and executives

Manage project delivery agile project ceremonies and activities as required, including creating Epic / User stories creation, product and sprint backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

Provide client interface and consulting support to delivery and engineering teams on business analysis, technology approach, solutions, project management process and client engagement to drive delivery success

Ensure project activities and deliverables are accomplished within the general scope of project requirements.

Determine project scope, timeframe, available resources, and overall objectives of all efforts; Organizes business objectives and coordinates personnel to ensure completion of project priorities according to defined completion timelines

Ensures resources allocated adhere to project scope and budget

Identifies and resolves all adjustments to project scope while communicating resource and labor costs as well as impacts to project scheduleQualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Data & Analytics, Computer Science, Health Care Informatics, or related field; Masters preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required

8+ years experience delivering in health care or data/ analytics programs with 5+ years experience in information systems and project plan development

Experience performing or leading data management or advanced analytics programs leveraging a complex, diverse ecosystem of cloud and hybrid tool environments.

Experience using data analytical tools such as Python, SAS, and/or SQL and leveraging data from Cerner or similar Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems

Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients, technical SME's, and other project team members to establish, monitor and perform against requirements and deliverable

Proven leadership and communication abilities with strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Must have experience in health care analytics either in hospital, federal civilian or defense health / military health environment

Must be a US citizen

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance
