We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Web & Application Developer to join our esteemed team at our office located in Westlake, Ohio. Please note that this is an on-site position. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in web and application development, a collaborative approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction. What Your Responsibilities Will Look Like:
Design, build, and maintain websites and web applications using modern development frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define user requirements and translate them into functional, scalable solutions.
Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components using Blazor, ASP-style frameworks, C#, and Web API.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system procedures and code annotations.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance, usability, and compliance with best practices.
Provide ongoing support for production web properties and assist with troubleshooting and enhancements.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Work closely with clients and internal teams to align design and functionality with business needs.
Support integration efforts using SDKs, SOAP/REST APIs, and JSON.
Advocate for best practices in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications to Be a Web and Application Developer:
Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in software development, including full SDLC participation.
Proficiency in building APIs and web services with enterprise-grade tools such as C#, Blazor, and ASP-style frameworks.
Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, etc.) and responsive design principles.
Solid understanding of SQL Server (2017 or higher), including query writing, ETL, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with source control systems, especially Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with health insurance companies, TPAs, or claims processors.
Knowledge of healthcare EDI standards such as 835s.
Experience with job scheduling tools like ActiveBatch.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
