Individual technical contributor responsible for completing the activities in the manufacturing area to meet daily production schedule and product quality requirements. Support production performance through data collection and monitoring, equipment troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement

About the Company

Biolinq is a venture-backed digital health company developing a wearable biosensor platform that measures biomarkers important to the management of many clinical conditions including diabetes. This dynamic role is a part of a team of engineers and scientists developing a novel intradermal biosensor technology and the associated software data extraction and rendering SDK that will transform the way people manage their metabolic health.

Duties and Responsibilities

Execute complex processes involving computer software, decision making, and judgment. As applicable, execute electrochemical processes for chemistry functionalization or sensor calibration, prepare chemical solutions according to defined recipes, or complete data disposition of individual sensor or equipment traces. May share other responsibilities with Manufacturing Associate to deliver against build plan.

Complete activities in the manufacturing area to meet daily production schedule and product quality requirements.

Supports Manufacturing supervision with training duties as needed

Proactively review build schedule and self-manage work priorities to support manufacturing objectives.

Facilitates daily meetings to review progress, performance, schedule, and escalations. Identifies obstacles to meet daily targets

Review build request documentation to prepare for build execution

Creates or remediates build documentation to improve clarity, accuracy, and standardization of manufacturing processes. Submits change orders for document improvements as necessary.

Perform cycle counts to monitor inventory levels in manufacturing area. Support lead or supervisor with material replenishment of production supplies. Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent material gap out and excess waste.

Support management with procurement and reordering as supplies or items are needed for production or continuous improvement activities.

Completes Netsuite transactions and adjustments to maintain visibility to inventory status.

Support Engineering with design of experiments, data collection, and qualification testing of new materials or processes.

Participation in initial support and troubleshooting response of identified issues

Independently executes design of experiments, data collection, and reporting with minimal supervision.

Understanding of product and process risks (PFMEA)

Participates and executes responsibilities for some problem-solving efforts. Familiarity with some problem-solving tools including A3, Fishbone, DMAIC, etc.

Maintain assigned work area in a well-organized, clean, and safe manner. Complete 5S daily checklist

Participates in some non-conformance investigations (NCMR, QF, CAPA)

Strong adherence to quality standards. Consistently complete work to correct procedure or documentation

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, Associates degree (preferred)

Minimum 5 years of experience, Wet lab experience (preferred)

Information exchanged is generally non-complex. Has contact with employees at other levels within the company who are supporting manufacturing

Communicates effectively in written and verbal format.

Ability to handle delicate materials and do precision manual alignments during manufacturing

Basic experience with Microsoft Office tools (preferred)

Experience with Microsoft Office tools and other software (RAM, MES, ERP, JMP)

Communicate status of work if handing off prior to or returning from breaks or next day or work

Demonstrates consistent character of respect

Completion of build documentation in timely manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Strong quality-orientation with attention to detail and a desire to deliver service excellence. Initiative to review daily build plan and own assigned work. Strong ability to manage work schedule around long processes

The U.S. pay range reasonably expected to be paid for this role is: $25 -$32 per hour. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate including, but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, education, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the U.S. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. Biolinq also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick time, parental leave), medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and any written agreement between the parties.
