We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our Safety team. This position will oversee all quality assurance functions within our organization, ensuring products, services and methods meet quality standards, customer expectations as well as regulatory requirements. The Director of Quality Assurance will develop and implement QA strategies, lead teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role
Develop and implement QA policies, procedures and objectives to ensure goals are achieved
Lead the standardization between operating groups to drive consistencies to increase efficiencies
Evaluate and improve existing QA processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
Ensure adherence to industry-specific quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
Maintain accurate documentation of QA activities, audits and non-conformances
Communicate quality objectives, progress and issues relevant stakeholders including internal teams, external partners, and customers
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and technology adoption
Provide training and guidance to staff on quality systems, best practices, and relevant regulations
Analyze quality metrics, trends, and performance data to identify areas for improvement
Monitor supplier performance and evaluate supplier auditing process
Travel to various markets as needed 50% annually)
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, build relationships and negotiate solutions
Analyze data, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement effective solutions

Requirements
5-8 years of quality assurance experience in the telecom/broadband industry
Must have experience managing a comprehensive quality management system
Understanding management systems, statistical process control, and relevant industry standards
Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools (PowerBI) and root cause analysis tools
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, build relationships and negotiate solutions
Ability to analyze data, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement effective solutions
Ability to travel within the U.S. to different market locations, up to 50% annually, based on project and business needs
Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving
