Maintenance Technician

Butler, PA

$20-21 / hour

Arbors Management currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician located in Butler, PA. This is a semi-skilled position for a person with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and custodial experience. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week. Some overtime will be required as well as on-call hours for emergency repairs. On-call time is split with another Maintenance employee. Pay is based on experience. Skills needed to be successful as the Maintenance Technician include:

Basic plumbing skills (Toilets, drains, hot water tanks, etc.)

Basic electrical skills (switches, fixtures, outlets)

Interior and exterior painting experience

Drywall hanging and repair experience

Ability to handle custodial duties, trash and groundskeeping

Can-do attitude with strong communication skills

Willingness to learn

Qualifications:

1-2 years of building maintenance experience (or equivalent schooling)

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to stand, bend, stoop, crawl and otherwise move about

Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance

Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must pass pre-employment drug and background screenings

Good communication skills
