Job Summary: The BI Analyst supports Hiller’s evolution towards digitization and data driven culture. In this role you will be a key member on the Data & Analytics (D&A) team responsible for implementing the data & analytics vision. This will range from managing stakeholder value add projects to resolving data disconnects to proposing process improvements to improve needed data points. We’re seeking candidates who are excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by advanced data modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. In an increasingly connected world, massive amounts of structured and unstructured data open new opportunities.
This is a fully remote role but the ideal candidate will be located in close enough proximity to a Hiller office for collaboration opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
Support The Hiller End-to-End BI Transformation
Support the Implementation of Advanced Data Models and Decision Tools Per Use Case Under Guidance of BI Leads
Maintain all stakeholder requests for data and analytics in a timely basis
Be a primary point of contact for key stakeholders to get needed insights
Participate in Data Literacy Training
Implement Process Improvement Via New Technologies
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field \2+ years of experience with hands-on data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
2+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted data sources
Experience participating in a team, including projects and deliverables
Experienced with the following programming languages: Python, R, SQL, DAX, Python and relevant libraries like Pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
Experience with AI, large language models, and machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, and deep learning.
Experience with big data technologies, such as Spark, Databricks, and cloud platforms, such as Azure and AWS.
Proficiency using cloud-based machine learning resources such as those from AWS
Translated analytical work into presentations (e.g. PowerPoint) suitable for non-technical audiences
Experience establishing relationships and building credibility with partners and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data-driven solutions in the construction industry.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions
Ability to design, develop, and deploy BI solutions for management reporting and tracking
The ability to present the materials necessary to communicate the results of analytical work and associated recommendations and influence the use of analytical recommendations.
