Premium Guard Inc is excited to announce that we’re hiring a Human Resources Business Partner for our location in Columbus Ohio

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for all human resources functions within the site including managing the work of the site HR Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Facilitates new hire onboarding including background checks and completing employee eligibility verifications.

Implements new hire orientation and employee engagement programs.

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave of absence, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Partners with site leaders in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Partners with local staffing partners to ensure staffing needs are fulfilled.

Provide HR dashboard metrics and monitors trends in key performance indicators

Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

At least five years of human resources experience preferred.

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory.

SHRM-CP a plus.
