Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Block Schedules: Not available

Schedule: No set schedule or weekends – full flexibility required

Floating: Required to float within equivalent/lower acuity units

Unit Description:

Medical-Surgical Oncology unit caring for patients with:

Cardiac monitoring during chemotherapy

Soft tissue malignancies (diagnostics, chemo, symptom management)

Management of comorbidities and disease progression

High focus on infection prevention and fall safety

Patient Ratio: 1:4

Preferred Experience:

Oncology experience (preferred but not required)

Previous travel nursing experience (preferred)

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 2 years RN experience

EPIC charting experience required

BLS certification (AHA)

Clinical Skills:

Dysrhythmia interpretation

Blood product administration

Central/PICC line care & IV starts

Port access

Arterial line management

Chest tube assist (insertion/removal)

High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

ABG interpretation

Equipment Used:

GE B450 monitors (telemetry)

Alaris pumps

Bladder scanner

Stryker beds

Weekly Breakdown:

Weekly Gross: $2,190.00 Per Week

On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week

Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,470.00 Per Week
