Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our dynamic team and collaborate closely with engineers. This role is essential in fabricating, curing, and assembling various types of composite materials.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers to fabricate, cure, and assemble composite materials.

Perform 80% layup and 20% assembly using provided tooling and pre-determined methods.

Work under minimal supervision in a loud environment with a variety of epoxy agents.

Interpret engineering drawings and diagrams, even when detailed information is not provided.

Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, process sheets, and assembly and schematic drawings.Essential Skills

Proficiency in composite material handling and fabrication.

Experience with laser projection and laying down plys.

Expertise in production composite layup, lamination, and blueprint interpretation.

1 to 4 years of experience in aerospace industry.Why Work Here

Work Environment

Work indoors in a facility designed for composite material fabrication. Expect a loud environment due to the nature of the work, with exposure to various epoxy agents.Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, California.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
