As a member of the executive team this role is responsible for the successful execution of major contracts and programs including the development of long term and comprehensive customer engagement and growth strategies. This role requires direct engagement and relationship development with major customers to refine/improve customer success plans required to deliver on customer requirements and drive significant revenue growth. He/she will be in a highly visible role whose results will have a material impact on the overall success of the company in achieving its long-term market share, revenue, and profit objectives. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is located in a hybrid capacity in Herndon, VA at our corporate headquarters

Responsibilities:

Executive oversight of the successful execution and growth of major US and International customer accounts and programs. Develops and implements long-term customer engagement and growth strategies for delivering space-based intelligence solutions to a global customer base.

Drive growth in revenue and profitability by building a high-performance delivery ecosystem of professionals and partners. This individual will have responsibility over contract execution including revenue and profit margin performance related to customer programs. Work closely with Finance and Operations to ensure budget adherence and efficient usage of resources.

Partner with Business Development and Government affairs teams to develop customer engagement and capture strategies including the shaping of budgets and long-term programs that align with the company’s business strategy and products and services offerings. This role will support engagement with senior executives in the executive branch, congress, and relevant DOD/IC organizations.

Set aggressive yet achievable goals while instilling a sense of urgency and accountability for results and high-performance standards and identify and shape opportunities for account growth. Establish a new battle-rhythm and rigor across the program management organization.

Effectively communicate to customers, partners, and team members how these long-term strategic objectives will be accomplished and deliver results.

Develop and oversee a Program Management Office; evolve program management reporting on key metrics to support business and operational decisions.

Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to serving the needs of the customer. Develop extensive relationships with current customers, maximize customer satisfaction, and seek additional service opportunities.

Hire, build out, and retain a high-performing team of leaders and individual contributors by demonstrating people first leadership. Manage a team of program managers.

Lead yearly planning for program management in conjunction with CFO/FP&A. Set top line goals and resourcing plans against it.

Required Qualifications:

Proven track record of 15+ years of experience leading the capture and execution of government programs to include firm fixed price contracts and at least 10+ years of management/leadership experience.

Experience in shaping, bidding, capturing and executing complex US and International ISR programs, including the formation of program teams for the successful delivery and profitable execution of major programs.

Successful background in program management of complex, high dollar value, strategic defense and intelligence and/or tactical ISR programs.

Experience with geospatial programs and associated government agencies such NRO or NGA.

Previous experience leading program risk and opportunity management activities to include identification and development of risk mitigation plans, scope management, program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources

Previous experience building a program management office (PMO).

Experience creating holistic global and regional strategies in partnership with other cross-functional stakeholders to drive value for customers and deliver results to the business.

Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI.

High energy, impeccable integrity, and the ability to operate successfully at start-up/high growth speed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in business administration or finance.

Experience managing international programs in the Middle East and Asia Pacific or other international locations.

Experience leading and growing a global organization.
