Job Description
As a Driver Helper, you will accompany the truck driver to deliver products to various stores and customers. Your role involves using a two-wheel dolly to efficiently transport cases of beer, wine, and liquor into businesses that have purchased the products. Interaction with customers receiving the product is a vital aspect of this role. You will also assist the driver in completing product checks, ensuring accurate routes and order slips for each customer, and help in setting up displays at stores. Reporting directly to the driver, you are expected to adhere to their instructions. The position requires physical strength, as lifting typically involves weights around 50 pounds, with occasional heavier loads like kegs weighing up to 125 pounds.
Responsibilities
Ride along with the truck driver to deliver products to stores and customers.
Use a two-wheel dolly to move cases of beer, wine, and liquor into businesses.
Interact with customers receiving the product.
Assist the driver in completing product checks and ensuring correct routes and order slips.
Help in setting up displays at various stores.
Report directly to the driver and follow their instructions.
Lift typically around 50 pounds, sometimes more, with the heaviest being moving kegs up to 125 pounds.Essential Skills
Experience with a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly.
Ability to load, unload, and package products.
6+ months of experience in warehouse, general labor, or physical work environment.
Comfortable interacting with customers and providing a strong customer experience.
Ability to lift 45-65 pounds, occasionally up to 125 pounds.
Comfortable with bending, pulling, and twisting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to work overtime, sometimes beyond 5 pm.
Comfortable sitting in a truck for long periods between deliveries.Work Environment
The work environment is a large, clean warehouse. You will assist the driver in ensuring all necessary items for deliveries are loaded onto the truck. Driver helpers will ride with drivers on various routes throughout the week, facing different weather conditions while unloading products. The role involves working one-on-one with different drivers daily and can vary in routes. The working hours are from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, with potential overtime on Mondays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
