We are currently seeking a hardworking, motivated Electrical Designer to join our team!

Capital Engineering offers a standard 5-day work week, or a condensed 4-day work week. However, all successful candidates must be willing to work in the office, not remotely.

What are we looking for?

Design of electrical project deliverables for low and medium voltage industrial electrical distribution systems.

Can execute relevant project design calculations (lighting, tray fill, cable sizing, volt drop, circuit protection, heat trace, battery sizing, etc.) utilizing applicable vendor software packages and/or calculation spreadsheets.

Coordinate electrical design activities with other discipline designers (Piping, Civil, Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation & Control, etc.).

Ensure consistency and integrity of electrical designs throughout project life cycle and review designs for logic, functionality and conformity with relevant codes, regulations and client standards Prepare and evaluate Bill of Materials of electrical commodity materials.

Work as a part of a team to provide quality deliverables while achieving deadlines.

Support projects from site for design and construction support when required.

What do we value:

Minimum 5+ years of experience.

Knowledge in various fields of electrical design and associated CAD software.

Capability to efficiently shift between multiple projects of varying scopes.

Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

A self-starter with strong technical, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Must be capable of conducting field visits at client facilities as required.

Willingness to learn and grow.
