Schedule/Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; Summer 202
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Currently pursuing a relevant degree in Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications
Excellent communication abilities
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections
Support the development and implantation of EHS policies and procedures
Participate in incident investigations and help identify corrective actions
Assist in the preparation and delivery of EHS training programs
Collect and analyze EHS data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Help maintain EHS documentation and records
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuing a degree Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering or a related field
Strong interest in EHS and a desire to learn.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Basic computer knowledge
Strong communication skills
Deals effectively with all levels of company personnel.
