We’re looking for Trainee Engineer to work with our team in order to gain the skills and experience necessary to become a professional engineer. The right candidate will be able to work independently and be able to take on responsibilities as they are given. Under the direct supervision of a Senior Engineer, performs a variety of tasks including planning, design, and construction of industrial systems

Assist the Senior Engineer in performing general engineering duties, such as preparing estimates, project schedules, cost breakdowns, preliminary reports, and other technical documents

Undertakes a variety of engineering and supervisory work, including technical research, numerical computations, and preparation of reports

Interacts with engineers, architects, clients, and the general public

Performs related work as requiredTrainee Engineer Responsibilities:

Assist with administrative, architectural, and systems engineering tasks

Perform drafting, drawing, and modeling using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit

Understand and apply industry standards, codes, and procedures

Develop cost estimates and time estimates for projects

Conduct research and provide solutions to practical engineering problems

Run field and laboratory tests, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural tests

Complete and submit professional reports, including budget and time estimates, specifications, and project reports

Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to relay project information effectively

Make site visits to observe construction progress

Participate in on-the-job training programs

Perform other assignments as requiredRequirements And Skills:

College degree in civil, structural, mechanical,, or electrical engineering

Minimum of 3 years of work experience (including internships) in one or more of the above specialties

Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts

Knowledge of building code requirements
