We have expanded our production capabilities by adding more equipment to our facilities in order to keep up with our growing range of OTC and Healthcare products.
Position Summary:
Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials.
JOB FUNCTIONS: (Job functions include but are not limited to the following)
Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.
Opens containers utilizing hand tools as needed; counts and weighs materials and records information.
Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.
Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish task.
Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, and/or elevator.
Assists machine operators as needed by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.
Stacks and assembles materials.
Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
Participates in quality improvement efforts.
Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Wear required PPE based on company dress code.
Follow Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) standards.
Work in a cooperative manner with management/supervision, co-workers and vendors.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION/ KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
Ability to read and understand work instructions.
Familiar with CGMP compliance standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequently sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 10-hours.
Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting required.
Simple and power grasping with both right and left hands is required.
Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS:
General schedule is an 8-hour Monday - Friday assignment, however, employee must be willing to work a flexible schedule including overtime and days that may include early mornings, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
