Exciting IT Leadership Opportunity IT Manager Dayton, OH (On-Site)

Our client, an established manufacturing company near Dayton, OH, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead their technology operations and drive digital efficiency across the organization.

This is a high-impact role ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, systems, and team leadership particularly with experience in Plex ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day IT operations, ensuring performance, security, and scalability of systems, infrastructure, and networks.

Manage, optimize, and support Plex ERP across the organization, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with long-term business goals.

Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled IT team focused on service excellence and innovation.

Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, and vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effective solutions.

Partner with cross-functional departments to understand and address evolving technology needs.

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity protocols and data protection standards.

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve business efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

5+ years of IT management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Proven expertise with Plex ERP

Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills

Experience with IT budgeting, strategic planning, and vendor negotiations

Solid understanding of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business systems
