Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a school construction project in Rosemead, CA. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, a strong understanding of DSA requirements, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control

Coordinate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

Manage DSA documentation, approvals, and inspections

Lead project team meetings and ensure alignment across all stakeholders

Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

Monitor field progress and collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure safety and efficiency

Utilize project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager

Proven experience with DSA projects, especially in K–12 or public education construction

Strong knowledge of construction contracts, building systems, and project sequencing

Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

College degree preferred, particularly in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Ability to lead teams and represent the company professionally in client-facing roles
