Job Description
The Clinical Training Coordinator position is responsible for establishing and growing a
successful training program for master’s level and doctorate level students. This entails all
program oversight and management related to postdoctoral psychology fellows, pre-
doctoral internship, and practicum students, as well as master’s level internship students.
This position works together with other agency clinicians to provide quality supervision,
curriculum, and clinical training opportunities on an annual basis to students rotating
through our practice. The Training Coordinator also supports the Leadership Team with
staff development and patient satisfaction programming.
This Full Time position is a unique opportunity to balance approximately 40%
Administrative/ Supervisory duties with 60% direct patient care. (Additional opportunity
for psychological assessment if PhD/PsyD). A combination of strong Leadership and
Clinical skills is a must.
The Clinical Training Coordinator reports directly to the Leadership Team, collaborating
together to organize, direct, administer and mange the implementation and maintenance
of our growing psychology training program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works together with Leadership Team members to build and expand on existing
curriculum and training program structure.
Demonstrates knowledge and applied understanding of documentation needed for
Supervisory relationship and agency participation with graduate school program
training requirements.
Develops and maintains a network of graduate school programs, including
outreach, marketing of the Training Program, and building relationships with
academic program supervisors and school staff.
Assists with application and acquired membership in APPIC, ACEPT, and other
national and local training accreditation programs.
Coordinates and delivers a range of learning experiences including videos,
webinars, didactics, lunch and learns, and group discussions.
Adheres to requirements for supervisors as stipulated by JEM Assoc policies and
procedures, Illinois Board of Psychology and APA rules and regulations.
Provides support and guidance to assist trainees in meeting JEM Assoc billable
hours requirements, charting, caseload, record keeping and documentation
standards, and all other quality assurance standards.
Teach, provide resources, review cases, engage in practice of skills, and aid
students in building professionalism and growing in their therapeutic skills
Other duties or projects as assigned.

billing, and credentialing.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: At least 3-5 years training / demonstrated supervisory experience (Required)
Education: Doctorate or Masters in Mental Health degree (Psychology or Social Work)
Licensure: Illinois Clinical Psychology License or LCSW/LCPC/LMFT license
