Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Worker in the batch mixing department, where you will play a key role in ensuring quality production by accurately loading, weighing, and mixing dry ingredients. Your responsibilities will include setting up machinery for cooks, gathering raw materials from inventory, and following recipes to mix and add ingredients.
Weekend Shift:
6:00am-7:30pm
Fri, Sat, Sun
$23 an hour
Lead
Must have experince with batch mixing
Responsibilities
Load and weigh dry ingredients.
Lift bags or ingredients and set machinery for cooks.
Gather raw materials and ingredients from inventory.
Follow recipes to mix and add ingredients.
Set liquid filler machinery to mixing tanks.
Dump ingredients into tanks and wait for product to cook.
Clean and organize workstations.
Climb ladders to dump and add ingredients.
Cut boxes and gather ingredients for staging materials.Essential Skills
Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for at least one year.
Experience in packaging for at least one year.
Manufacturing experience for at least one year.
Ability to lift 40 lbs. individually.
Comfortable climbing ladders, working on mezzanines above kettles/tanks.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual abilities are advantageous.
Experience in blending and batch mixing is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is very clean and temperature-controlled, consisting of packaging machinery, kettles/tanks for mixing, and inventory. The work environment is pleasant and smells good, with a slightly warmer temperature around machinery and kettles for cooking. Employees are required to wear hairnets, beard nets, work pants, and non-slip boots, with no jewelry allowed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.05 - $18.05/hr.
