This hospital is looking to add a permanent and full time Lead Histotech OR Histology Lead to their team! This hospital is known to have a great laboratory work environment with excellent staff of technologists, technicians, pathologists, phlebotomists, and clerical personnel. In addition, they have a full service laboratory including sections in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, cytology and histology! In addition, they reinvest annually in the latest technology and have a completely up to date lab.

The Lead Histotech or Histology Lead assists the supervisor in day-to-day operation of the histology section. He She helps to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of services provided by the department. This is a DAY shift position. For consideration, applicants must have a BS or AS degree in Histology or Medical Laboratory Technology (or related field) - HT or HTL ASCP certification is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a hospital or a high volume laboratory setting is also strongly preferred.
